We propose that Canadians challenge our newly elected government to insure that our concerns on Canadian Immigration and Refugee Policy are given appropriate weight:
What is Canada going to do to give increased emphasis in the proposed anti smuggling legislation, Bill C-49, in dealing with the illegal acts by the migrants themselves?
Is Canadian Immigration policy up to the challenges posed by changing world demographics and migration?
Do International Accords signed by Canada really mean that we must accept refugee queue jumpers who are intentionally targeting the overly generous Canadian welfare system?Should Canada not refuse any refugee claims that are made by claimants who cannot provide proof of who they are?
Why isn’t Canada turning back illegal immigrants at sea like the US and Australian?
Shouldn’t Canada conduct a full review of it strategies and policies with respect to promoting more integration friendly immigration?
Don’t you think that recent indications of weakness in our Immigration System warrants a dialogue with Canadians about what our policies are and what they should be?
Don’t you think that Canada should be emulating liberal democratic countries in Europe who are revising immigration, integration, citizenship and welfare policies?
Do you believe that Canada has the right to modify its immigration policies to promote more integration friendly immigration?
Why shouldn’t Canada introduce polygraph testing of all immigrant and refugee claimants to ascertain that 1) they are who they say they are, 2) they are not or have not been associated with criminal or terrorist activities, and 3) that they will give allegiance to the Canadian Charter of Rights over all else?
Don’t you think that immigration and refugee queue jumpers should be rejected and that only those who follow the rules be processed?
Shouldn’t we make Canadian citizenship revocable during a 10 year trial period?
Should Canada not revoke the citizenship and deport landed immigrants, refugee claimants and new immigrants who are convicted of criminal offenses or only take out citizenship for Canadian benefits then almost immediately move back out of the country?.
Doesn’t Canada need to review its eligibility criteria for rights and benefits especially with respect to new immigrants?
Should not eligibility for Canadian rights and benefits be earned through making some contribution to Canada?
Why is the Canadian government not listening to and working more closely with the Muslim Canadian Congress?
